After visiting Medewi for the last ten years, this is my new favorite place to stay in the village. The place is super close to the Medewi beach but at the same time is in a quiet corner with the views on the rice fields. The rooms are very clean and stylish furnished. The manager is a friendly host with a great sense of humor, who will help you with everything you need. I will be back there as soon as possible!

Hidden gem guest house in Medewi, extra clean, very neat with fresh air & rice field in surrounding area. I would like to give 10/10 for the property. Only 3 rooms available (2 big rooms and 1 room with smaller size) they also have kitchen with stove, dispenser and refrigerator. In each of room already equipped with smart tv. You have to visit and dont hesitate to contact Bli Boby (the owner) for the information, he is very friendly, helpful and nice person.

We had a great stay and eat sleep in uma desa! Ali the host treated us so well, made us delicious scrambled eggs in the morning and gave us many useful tips for the area !thanks a lot for everything . India & family

The clean and tidy room and comfortable bed are very suitable for surfers who like to enjoy the tranquility. The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic, and will help you call the local pro surfer to ask about the wave conditions.

Scam Warning: Booking Ignored, Overpriced Walk-Ins Preferred We visited Uma Desa in person and spoke to the owner, who quoted us a price much higher than the Booking.com rate. We decided to book online instead and paid in full via Booking.com. When we contacted the owner through the WhatsApp number listed on Booking.com to confirm our check-in, he denied that the Booking.com listing was his—despite the photos, address, and phone number clearly matching his property. He claimed the rooms were already booked and refused to honor our booking, likely preferring to charge walk-in guests a higher price. This left us scrambling last minute for accommodation and felt like a complete scam. I strongly warn anyone considering booking here to be cautious. If you want to stay, you’ll likely have to book directly and pay much more. This lack of transparency made it one of the worst booking experiences we’ve had in years.
