This agreement sets out the terms you accept as a guest when you book and stay through Lodge. The sections below are placeholders for our legal team to finalise.

1. Scope of this agreement

Explain that this agreement applies to guests who book a stay through Lodge, and that it sits alongside the Terms & Conditions and the host’s own house rules. Clarify that the stay itself is a contract between the guest and the host.

2. Booking and payment

Confirm that the guest agrees to pay the accommodation price plus the 10% service fee at the time of booking, and that the booking is confirmed once payment is completed. Reference the Lodge Payments Terms.

3. Guest responsibilities

Set out what the guest commits to during their stay.

  • Provide accurate booking and guest information.
  • Follow the host’s house rules and respect the property, neighbours, and local community.
  • Use the property only for the agreed number of guests and purpose.
  • Report any damage promptly and take responsibility for damage they cause.

4. Check-in, check-out, and conduct

Describe expectations around check-in and check-out times, communication with the host, and conduct during the stay. Note that serious breaches may end the stay without refund.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Point guests to the Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy for how to cancel and what they may get back.

6. Liability

Explain the limits of Lodge’s responsibility for the property and the host, and the guest’s responsibility for their own conduct and belongings. Counsel to finalise wording.
