By making a reservation at Lodge, guests and hosts agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1. General Terms

1.1 Agreement: By making a reservation at Lodge, guests and hosts agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 Modifications: Lodge reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to guests and hosts promptly.

1.3 Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Guest Terms

2.1 Booking: Guests must provide accurate information during the booking process.

2.2 Conduct: Guests agree to respect the property and its surroundings, adhering to all house rules and local laws.

2.3 Check-in/Check-out: Guests must adhere to the specified check-in and check-out times. Late check-outs may incur additional charges.

2.4 Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. Charges for repairs or replacements will be applied accordingly.

2.5 Smoking and Pets: Smoking and pets are not permitted unless explicitly stated in the property listing.

3. Host Terms

3.1 Property Standards: Hosts must ensure their property meets all safety and cleanliness standards.

3.2 Availability: Hosts should maintain accurate availability calendars and promptly respond to booking inquiries.

3.3 Cancellations: Hosts must adhere to the cancellation policy outlined in these terms. Unjustified cancellations may result in penalties.

3.4 Liability: Hosts are responsible for the safety and condition of their property. Lodge is not liable for any accidents or injuries occurring on the property.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policies

4.1 Guest Cancellations

Bookings of 28 Nights or More:

  • Cancellation 7+ Days Before Check-in: 100% refund.
  • Cancellation 7 Days Before Check-in: 25% cancellation fee applies.

Bookings of 14 Nights or More:

  • Cancellation 7+ Days Before Check-in: 100% refund.
  • Cancellation 3 Days Before Check-in: 25% cancellation fee applies.

Bookings of less than 14 Nights:

  • Cancellation 7+ Days Before Check-in: 100% refund.
  • Cancellation 2 Days Before Check-in: 25% cancellation fee applies + 1 Night.

4.2 Host Cancellations

  • Without Cause: Hosts who cancel within 48 hours of check-in may be subject to a £50 cancellation fee.
  • With Cause: In cases of force majeure (e.g., property damage, natural disasters), hosts must provide documentation and may be exempt from cancellation fees.

4.3 Refunds

  • Eligibility: Guests may request a refund if the property does not match the listing description or is uninhabitable.
  • Process: Refund requests must be submitted within 72 hours of check-in and supported by evidence (e.g., photographs).

5. Liabilities

5.1 Lodge Liability: Lodge is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during a guest's stay.

5.2 Host Liability: Hosts are responsible for maintaining a safe environment. Lodge is not liable for accidents or incidents occurring on the property.

5.3 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond their control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics).

6. Reviews

6.1 Guest Reviews: Guests are encouraged to leave honest and constructive reviews. Reviews should not contain offensive language or defamatory content.

6.2 Host Reviews: Hosts are encouraged to provide feedback on guests' conduct. Reviews should be factual and respectful.

6.3 Moderation: Lodge reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these terms or contain inappropriate content.
